Gift set “Traveller”: watercolors + leporello box

Travels near and far will take on a completely different feel with this compact yet voluminous set consisting of a personalized travel journal in leather covers in dark brown or light brown and the Deep Deep Light six-color set "Wild Rose".

The travel journal is made of leather covers and easily replaceable leporello type sketchbooks made of 200gsm paper suitable for watercolors. The magazine has a rubber closure on the covers with a leather lining to prevent deformation of the covers and paper, as well as a pocket inside the front covers to hold more detailed sketches and note sheets.

Magazine covers will be a constant companion of your travels, because as soon as one block of paper is filled with travel stories, you can exchange it for a new one and go on new adventures with the magazine. Leporello consists of 16 sheets (8 openings) and is made from Deep Deep Light artist tested and recognized watercolor paper.

In addition, when you purchase a travel journal, we will personalize it with your initials (6-8 symbols or initials in colorless, silver or gold relief).

The Wild Rose set is inspired by the palette of the rose in autumn, when its fruits are already forming and the last summer flowers have not yet bloomed. The fresh air, the elegant, timeless smell of this plant, the autumn mood make you want to make hot rose petal tea.

All the leather products on display are handmade by a master craftsman right here in Latvia, in our small but warm-hearted workshop. We believe that leather is a special and beautiful material, and we are grateful for its past life, so we use it as sparingly as possible. If you see a slight scratch, you know that in our eyes it is not a flaw, but an added value to the product, making it unique and with its own story.

All watercolors are handmade from pigments, pigment mix, binder and essential oils. We make the connector element ourselves from gum arabic, natural honey and water. All watercolors have a soft floral scent, with a lemongrass accent and a sandalwood base.
