RUSTIC leather covers for sketchbook

Quality leather covers in A5 size, suitable for a sketchpad with a spiral on top. The covers have a pocket where you can put various notes and other valuable paper things. Any A5 size sketch pad with a spiral can be inserted into the leather covers. The closure of the leather lids is made of a leather cord that can be wrapped around the lids. This will be your trusty sketchpad to always carry with you due to its convenient size and functional design.

In addition, we offer to personalize the covers with your initials or name by printing them in gold, silver or colorless.

We use "Crazy horse" leather for our products, treated with natural wax products. Leather is a natural material that has lived its own life, so it may have small scratches or imperfections. We try to never put such "imperfections" in the central areas, but please note that there may also be a slight scratch or mark in the leather on the back or less visible parts of the product. Leather is a wonderful material, and our philosophy is to respect and use it, throwing out as little as possible, thus showing a little respect and gratitude to nature and the world.

Crazy horse material has been known for centuries, it is made from thick cow leather (full grain), which is one of the highest quality leathers in the world. It is coated with a layer of natural wax, then polished to a rich finish. Daily use of a product made of such leather only makes it more beautiful - scratches and friction against other objects change the color of the leather, creating rich, multi-graded tones, complementing the product with a natural "vintage" roughness and harshness. The more the product is used, the more unique its pattern will become.

If you want the product to last a long time, as well as if you want to update its "vintage" look, all you have to do is wet it thoroughly and rub it with a clean cloth (especially the places where scratches are more visible), wipe off the excess water and finally polish it again using a linear movements and woolen gloves, socks or any other woolen product. Polish until the skin is smooth and slightly shiny.

All the leather products on display are handmade by a master craftsman right here in Latvia, in our small but warm-hearted workshop. We believe that leather is a special and beautiful material, and we are grateful for its past life, so we use it as sparingly as possible. If you see a slight scratch, you know that in our eyes it is not a flaw, but an added value to the product, making it unique and with its own story.
